LeEco has just unveiled three new smartphones, but this company that did not make any headlines so far also revealed a smart TV and an autonomous electric car. The new LeEco smartphones are Le 2, Le 2 Pro, and the top-of-the-line Le Max 2.
These are the highlights of each of the three new LeEco handsets:
- Le 2 - MediaTek Helio X20, 3 GB RAM, 32 GB eMMC 5.1 storage, 5.5-inch full HD, 16 MP main camera
- Le 2 Pro - MediaTek Helio X25, 4 GB RAM, 32 GB eMMC 5.1 storage, 5.5-inch full HD, 21 MP main camera
- Le Max 2 - Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, 4/6 GB RAM, 32/64 GB UFS 2.0 storage, 5.7-inch 1440p, 21 MP main camera with OIS
All these handsets have a front camera with 8 MP, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C, as well as GPS with GLONASS support. They run Android 6.0 with EUI 5.8 on top. Unfortunately for some, they removed the headphone jack in all their handsets, but an adapter is included.
For now, the Le 2 lineup only hits the Chinese market. The prices are $170 USD for Le 2, $230 USD for Le 2 Pro, and the high-end Le 2 Pro costs $325 USD (4 GB/32 GB variant) or $385 USD (6 GB/64 GB).
