Toshiba Satellite Pro A50-C business all-rounder now available for 800 Euros
Toshiba has announced three SKUs for its Satellite Pro A50-C series of business notebooks. The Satellite Pro A50-C was introduced last November for SMB environments and can be equipped with either an anti-glare FHD or HD display depending on the SKU with a range of Skylake options.
The three SKUs are now available starting at the following prices:
- Satellite Pro A50-C-1G8: 1049 Euro
- Satellite Pro A50-C-1G9: 849 Euro
- Satellite Pro A50-C-1GL: 799 Euro
The relatively thin and lightweight Satellite Pro A50-C models are suitable for professionals looking for a solid 15.6-inch form factor for daily office work and traveling. The anti-glare screens should allow users to work comfortably in both indoor and outdoor ambient lighting conditions.
For performance, the A50-C-1G8 and A50-C-1G9 will ship with the Core i5-6200U and Core i3-6100U, respectively, while the former will receive a 256 GB SSD and the latter a 128 GB SSD. The even less expensive A50-C-1GL will skip the pre-installed SSD altogether for a 500 GB mechanical drive.
The Satellite Pro A50-C series has been TÜV tested through the HALT (Highly Accelerated Life Test) standard and even comes with Toshiba's "Reliability Guarantee". Thus, users who experience any hardware issues during the first year of coverage may qualify for a full refund and repair of the damaged unit. Buyers are encouraged to register their notebooks with Toshiba within the first 30 days of purchase.
