Toshiba updates Tecra A50-C-1W2 with Core i7-6500U and LTE

Toshiba Europe is expanding its portfolio once again with the 15.6-inch Tecra A50-C-1W2. This particular SKU includes the following specifications:

• Intel Core i7-6500U Skylake CPU
• Integrated HD Graphics 520
• 8 GB RAM (expandable up to 16 GB)
• 256 GB SSD
• Gigabit RJ-45, 3.5 mm headphones, VGA, HDMI-out, 2x USB 2.0, 2x USB 3.0, SD reader, Hi-Speed Port Replicator III
• WLAN 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0, integrated LTE/4G modem
• Up to 8 hours of runtime
• 379 x 258 x 23.25 mm
• 2 kg

Other notes include Windows 7 Professional pre-installed with a Windows 10 DVD in case if users wish to upgrade in the future. Buyers may want to keep the DVD safe as the free upgrade for existing Windows 7 users is expected to end by next month.

The business-centric Tecra A50-C-1W2 is eligible for Toshiba's Reliability Warranty. Thus, should the notebook malfunction due to reasons beyond the owner's control, the manufacturer will refund the full purchase price of the notebook and/or provide free repair services within the one-year warranty.
