Apple introduced the latest MacBook Air 13 in March with the M3 SoC at a starting price of $1,099. Although this starting price is lower than the launch price of the MacBook Air M2, it is still quite a bit when you consider the 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage on offer. We are happy to report that the base MacBook Air 13 has scored a significant discount and has slid down to its lowest price ever.
You can now buy the Apple MacBook Air 13 M3 for only $899 on Amazon instead of the regular $1,099 price. This translates to savings of $200, enough to invest in an external SSD like the 2 TB Crucial X10 Pro to augment the MacBook Air's soldered storage.
When it comes to the overall quality of the machine, few, if any, competing laptops are as good as the MacBook Air 13 M3. As we noted in our review, the MacBook Air 13 shines with its slim chassis, excellent 98.4% DCI-P3 Liquid Retina display, stellar performance, and solid inputs. Additionally, the laptop also proved to be completely silent in our testing thanks to its fanless design.
Finally, the MacBook Air 13 has even better battery life than the already excellent endurance of the MacBook Air 13 M2, as the notebook lasted for more than 15 hours in our WiFi Websurfing test at 150 nits.
All in all, for the vast majority of users who don’t need a professional laptop with tons of performance and ports, the MacBook Air 13 with Apple M3 is the right answer.
