Mugen Power Batteries launched an extended battery for LG's flagship that offers 6200 mAh, more than twice the capacity of this smartphone's original power pack.
Codrut Nistor,

LG G4 is not a flop, although its sales have been rather disappointing so far. While this smartphone has top specs, its original battery only offers 3000 mAh. People who use the smartphone for gaming or simply keep WiFi/mobile data connection, Bluetooth and the GPS on all the time will surely appreciate a more generous power pack. Fortunately, Mugen Power Batteries has just announced a new battery for LG G4.

HLI-G4XL Mugen Power 6200mAh Extended Battery for LG G4 has been "designed to provide maximum mobile freedom" and offers more than two times the capacity of a stock LG G4 battery. According to the official press release, this battery is fully compliant with CE requirements and "has undergone vigorous QA testing to ensure the highest quality and lowest return rate." The only drawback is that replacing the stock battery with the HLI-G4XL will also make the smartphone heavier and bulkier.

The HLI-G4XL extended battery can be already purchased directly from Mugen Power Batteries. It costs $89.50 USD and comes with worldwide free shipping.

Although I have been writing about new software and hardware for almost a decade, I consider myself to be old school. I always enjoy listening to music on CD or tape instead of digital files and I will not even get into the touchscreen vs physical keys debate. However, I also enjoy new technology, as I now have the chance to take a look at the future every day. I joined the Notebookcheck crew back in 2013 and I have no plans to leave the ship anytime soon.
