Konami seems to be making a stunning comeback in the video game world, and following the release of the remake of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, the Japanese firm asked gamers which opuses should benefit from a remake. And among the games suggested, there are a few surprises.
It was through a survey mainly aimed at Japanese gamers and shared by user @Kuwabara357 on X that Konami decided to give fans of the franchise a voice. Among the games available, you can find the first Metal Gear, released in 1987, and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, released in 2015, as well as other titles in the franchise.
This is excellent news for thousands of players around the world, who can expect new remakes in the years to come. And that’s not all, because it would also allow Konami to regain its former glory by offering qualitative games that meet the expectations of fans.
But if we're talking about a remake, that doesn't mean there won't be new features, as it is the case with Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake. This title will benefit from the Fox Hunt multiplayer mode, which could be unveiled this week at the Tokyo Game Show. And the same could be true for the other games in the license to be remastered. We'll have to wait and see which Metal Gear game is chosen next, but there's no doubt that fans will be delighted.
