Inno3D rep appears to confirm Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 release timings ahead of schedule
It is something of an open secret that Nvidia will soon be replacing the likes of the GeForce RTX 4090 (curr. $1,979 on Amazon) with RTX 50 series successors. To that end, recent leaks have revealed information about not just the GeForce RTX 5090, but also the China-exclusive GeForce RTX 5090 D. Additionally, other sources have suggested that the GeForce RTX 5070 or GeForce RTX 5070 Ti could almost be upon us, too.
Now, an Inno3D representative has been caught discussing the whereabouts of the GeForce RTX 5090 in a recent livestream. Reportedly, the representative stated that Nvidia will be officially announcing the graphics card 'at CES 2025 in January', which Nvidia itself has not confirmed yet. With that being said, Nvidia has outlined that CEO Jensen Huang will give a keynote speech on January 6 at the Las Vegas-based trade show.
Moreover, the same representative initially claimed that the GeForce RTX 5090 would be available 'in just three weeks'. In other words, this would be around the third week of December going off the date of the livestream. As VideoCardz notes, this window likely relates to when Nvidia may begin shipping early GeForce RTX 5090 units to its board partners like Inno3D, rather than its on-shelf date. Either way, it would already appear that the GeForce RTX 5090 has entered mass production, which could also extend to the lesser GeForce RTX 5070 or GeForce RTX 5070 Ti and GeForce RTX 5080.
