It seems that Huawei has quite a few tablets in development at the moment. It has only been a few days since we reported on the sighting of a new MatePad, a tablet possibly designed to take on the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite. Now, possible details of two other upcoming Huawei tablets have emerged online.
Starting with the more premium of the two, Gizchina claims to have spotted teasing what it thinks is the MediaPad M7. If you follow Huawei tablet releases, then you may have seen the MediaPad M7 mentioned before. Originally thought to be the name of what Huawei would eventually call the MatePad Pro, Gizchina claims to have now seen the MediPad M7 in Vision X65 marketing materials.
We are unsure why the website believes this to be a new tablet, though. On the contrary, the tablet looks exactly like the MatePad Pro. So, we are not ruling this out but it seems more like that Gizchina has made a mistake on this one.
Separately, Evan Blass has teased a new Huawei tablet to on Patreon. Called the MatePad T, the tablet apparently has an 8-inch display. Undoubtedly, we are looking at a budget tablet here. According to PhoneArena, the MatePad T has already passed received Wi-Fi Alliance certification, with at least five models seemingly in development.
