Huawei rolls out new update for Watch GT 4 smartwatch

The Huawei Watch GT 4 smartwatch is receiving a new update, version 4.2.0.103(SP5C00M06). This latest release appears to be rolling out to users globally and is 44.74 MB in size, making it relatively fast to install.

The release notes state that this update brings system stability improvements in “certain situations”. Unfortunately, Huawei does not provide further information explaining what has changed or where customers may feel these benefits. The change log does not list any new features, improvements or bug fixes for the wearable. The first software version 4.2.0.103 update for the Huawei Watch GT 4 smartwatch arrived earlier this year, bringing HarmonyOS 4.2 to the smartwatch. Here, new features included TriRings watch faces and a notification to confirm your wake-up time.
