Huawei Smart Screen S86 Pro TV launches with 120 Hz 4K screen and 12 MP detachable camera

The Huawei Smart Screen S86 Pro is a new 86-in TV from the brand. The device has a 2.7 mm ultra-thin bezel for a 98% screen ratio. The gadget includes the HarmonyOS 3 Smart Experience, allowing you to remotely control the device with your smartphone or cast to the screen from a connected device.

The Ultra HD 4K display has a 120 Hz refresh rate, for a smooth and clear picture, with AG anti-glare technology to reduce any interference from light on the display. The screen has a typical brightness of 500 nits with a 4000:1 contrast ratio. The screen produces true colors, with a 92% DCI-P3 color gamut and various image-enhancing technologies. An ultra-wide 12 MP magnetically detachable AI camera supports portrait tracking, distance and posture reminders and allows you to make video calls from the device.

The TV has six built-in speakers, plus you can connect external speakers to the device to create a 5.1 channel smart sound system. The device has 4 GB + 64 GB storage, allowing you to download many apps to the gadget. The S86 Pro also acts as a hub for the Huawei smart home network, allowing you to control the TV and other devices with voice commands. You can connect to the TV via many ports, including HDMI 2.0, HDMI ARC and USB outputs.

You can pre-order the Huawei Smart Screen S86 Pro TV in China with a 100 yuan (~US$15) deposit; the device costs 13,999 yuan (~US$2,076). It is currently unclear whether or when the device could launch in other markets.
