Huawei has launched its newest mid-range phone, the P Smart+ (2019). The P Smart+ shares a lot of hardware with the regular P Smart that was launched a few months ago, the major difference being the triple rear camera setup, with one of the cameras being a 16 MP wide-angle lens.

Huawei launched the P Smart (2019) back in January and has now unveiled a more impressive variant of the device—the P Smart+ (2019).

The P Smart+ is mostly identical to the P Smart. The new device features the same 6.21-inch FHD+ display with a teardrop notch at the top. The major improvement over the base model is the rear camera setup. While the regular P Smart makes do with a 13 MP main shooter and 2 MP depth sensor, the P Smart+ takes things up a notch with a 24 MP main shooter, 16 MP wide-angle lens, and 2 MP depth sensor. The selfie camera is an 8 MP snapper.

The P Smart+ is Huawei’s first non-flagship phone to sport a triple rear camera setup. That’s in stark contrast to rivals Samsung that have a penchant for throwing triple rear cameras on most of its devices.

The P Smart+ maintains the regular P Smart’s Kirin 710 and 3400 mAh battery. RAM stands at 3 GB, and there are 64 GBs of storage available, expandable to 512 GB via a MicroSD.

Pricing details are unknown.
