Huawei plans to launch a new tablet in Japan, but - unlike most tablets sold in the country - this is not a mid-range or premium device. Dubbed MediaPad T3 7, this Android slate is expected to hit the local market for the equivalent of around $106 USD.
The specs of the Huawei MediaPad T3 7 include a MediaTek MT8127 quad-core processor, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage, 2 MP cameras, a 7-inch IPS LCD display with 1,024X600 pixels, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth 4.1. A 3G and maybe a 4G LTE version should arrive in the future, but they still have to be confirmed. This slate has a case made of aluminum and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The price mentioned earlier only applies to the WiFi variant, also the only one expected to hit the market in early July. It also remains to see if Huawei plans to bring this slate to other markets as well, since there might still be room for it in some areas of Europe and Asia, not to mention South America.
