Today is a big launch day for Huawei. Just in a few hours, the Chinese company will launch the Mate 9 product-family in Munich, Germany. One of Huawei's mobile product managers took the device out early in the morning to take some sample pictures. Have a look!

Huawei has a big day coming up today. In a few hours, the Mate 9 team will officially announce the Mate 9 during a press conference in Munich, Germany. We have witnessed a lot of leaks during the last few weeks. Everything from specifications to actual real life pictures have been posted already but still a few questions remain. Will the Mate 9 Pro, the alleged curved screen edition of the Mate 9 be sold outside of China? Will the maxed out version really cost $1,300? We might learn about that later today.

In the meantime, enjoy some camera samples, created by a product manager for mobile at Huawei, who took the device out early in the morning to take some pictures of the surroundings of Munich at dawn and uploaded them to his Weibo account later. The Leica branded dual-cam on the Mate 9 will be one of the highlights of the device so while these sample pictures are by now way official samples, they do give a glimpse, of what the camera is capable of in low light scenarios.
