We recently reported news of the upcoming Huawei Mate 10 but the OEM has given fans something a bit more subdued to hold on to for the moment. The budget Huawei Enjoy 7 has been launched and we're not so keen on it.
The Enjoy 6 was announced in October last year, so it's a bit surprising that we're getting the Enjoy 7 barely nine months after. It should also be noted that the Enjoy 7 Plus was released sometime in April, which goes against the norm of plus versions coming after the regular models.
The Enjoy 7 sports a 5" HD display, an entry-level Qualcomm SoC—the Snapdragon 425, a 13MP rear camera, a 5MP selfie shooter, and an unassuming 3020mAh battery.
The device comes in two variants;
- 2/16GB ($132)
- 3/32GB ($161)
While it makes no pretenses at being anything other than a budget device, you'd expect more from a device with those price tags, especially performance-wise. There are a handful of brands that offer way more at that price point.
The Enjoy 7 is on presale starting today and will be in shops come July 15.
