Huawei officially launched its new smartphone, the mid-range Huawei Enjoy 5s. The device features slim metal body as well as a fingerprint scanner for enhanced security.

The Huawei Enjoy 5s sports a 5-inch, 1280 x 720 pixels resolution display and houses the 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6753T SoC running at 1.5 GHz. The processor is accompanied by 2 GB of RAM. The 16 GB of on-board storage space (partly taken by the Android 5.1 Lollipop with EMUI 3.1 Lite on top) can be expanded up to 128 GB via a micro-SD card reader.

The new handset has been outfitted with a 13 MP main camera with f/2.0 lens and a LED flash. On the front, there's a selfie shooter with a 5 MP sensor. Huawei Enjoy 5s supports 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS/A-GPS. The 2,200 mAh battery can last for up to 200 hours of standby time, according to Huawei. 

The device is 7.6 mm thin, weighs 135 grams and will be available in China, starting on December 10th in silver and gold color options at 1,199 CNY (approx. $187). There is no information regarding availability on other markets at this point.
