Honor was quick to follow Qualcomm's Snapdragon 888+ announcement with a revelation of its own that the successor to its Magic2 flagship smartphone would be powered by this SoC. Now, it has set a date for the launch of this device.
In fact, the OEM has referred to a "series" in its new launch teaser, thereby hinting at a minimum of 2 flagship variants. This has led to rumors of a Magic3 and Magic3 Pro that will start at 4000 (~US$617) and 5000 (~$772) yuan respectively on their debut in China.
Furthermore, Honor has affirmed that its upcoming flagships will launch outside this market also. Finally, the prominent tipster @RODENT950 asserts there will actually be 3 kinds of Magic3 (the ELZ-AN00, ELZ-AN10 and ELZ-AN20).
The leaker has also posted an image linked to 1 of these variants, although it has been presented as a concept rather than a more accurate render. Honor may confirm these rumors during an August 12, 2021 product event that might unveil well-priced premium smartphones.
