Reviews for the Honor Magic5

Honor Magic 5 Smartphone Review
Source: OI Spice Tech News English
The Honor Magic 5 shows its true colors when you start using this phone. You might think that the phone got a powerful chipset with apt display and camera features, which may even appeal to a wide range of flagship users. but it doesn’t give a proper justification to upgrade from last year’s model. But there’s no denying that the company provides an amazing design with a beautiful camera experience. Still, there are shortcomings like not having wireless charging support, standard charging, lacking protection, and so on. If you are looking for a better deal in the same price range, we recommend you check out the OnePlus 11. With this smartphone, you will obtain better camera features, fast charging, and a more pleasing display experience.

Honor Magic 5, Pro & Prestige | TSW140
Source: Tech Spurt English
The Honor Magic 5, Pro & Prestige are a trio of flagship smartphones likely to launch at MWC 2023 next month. Here's a preview of these fresh phones, including the mighty Honor Magic 5 Prestige with its 1-inch IMX989 camera sensor - its killer feature for taking pin-sharp night photos. The Honor Magic 5 serves up a bigger battery than the Pro and Prestige models, at 5000mAh vs 4800mAh. However, the more expensive phones deliver faster charging, plus wireless charge support. You also get 3D face recognition and proper water resistance, according to the latest leaks. The Honor Magic 5 Prestige, Pro and regular flavour should all be 6.8-inch beasts powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. So expect slick gaming performance. Of course, this may all be a load of cobblers as it's just pre-launch leaks - stay tuned for unboxing and hands-on review videos following MWC 2023 on February 27!

Qualcomm Adreno 740: Graphics chip for smartphones and tablets that is integrated within the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Qualcomm claims that it is 25% faster than the Adreno 730 in the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and first benchmarks show that the GPU can beat the Apple A16 iGPU (previously the fastest smartphone GPU).

Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.

SD 8 Gen 2: High-end SoC for smartphones that was introduced in late 2022 with a fast prime core based on a ARM Cortex-X3 architecture clocked at up to 3.2 GHz. Two more performance cores are based on the A715 and also support only 64 bit applications. The two additional A710 cores support also 32 bit applications as do the power saving Cortex-A510 cores. In addition to the processor cores, the SoC integrates a WiFi 7 modem, a Hexagon DSP (for AI acceleration) and a Spectra ISP. The integrated memory controller supports fast LPDDR5x memory with up to 4,200 MHz. 5G is included in the chip with the Snapdragon X70 modem.» Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Processsors.

6.73":

It is a small display format for smartphones. You shouldn't be severely defective in vision, and you won't see much detail on the screen and only have a small resolution available. For that, the device should be small and handy, easy to transport.

Honor:

In 2014 Huawei created the sub brand Honor and offers certain smartphone series under this name. Occasionally the products are also called Huawei Honor.

The market share of Honor products is manageable, but there are several reviews on Honor smartphones with average ratings (as of 2016).
