Reviews for the Meizu 20

Meizu 20 Classic comes with a wide array of features, including an attractive design, powerful hardware, good enough photography, and a decent content streaming experience. Besides this, the device can handle long hours of gaming and supports multitasking. All of these factors combined make this smartphone a flagship killer deal. However, some downsides are missing secondary storage and lacking a 3.5mm port. Yet, they won’t be an issue in the big picture. Every techie user loves this phone because it provides value-packed specs, though the brand doesn’t have a massive presence in the global market. Nor does the company provide information about the international release. Therefore, it’s safe to say that the Meizu 20 Classic will be exclusive to the Chinese smartphone market. If you want to purchase this device, you might have to look for a third-party platform in the worst case.

The Meizu 20 smartphone claims to be a flagship smartphone and feels to meet the expectations of a flagship user. It provides a great display, design, performance, decent camera, and battery, but a flagship smartphone has to provide an all-around feature list that the Meizu 20 fails to deliver. Lack of water resistance, absence of Gorilla Glass screen protection, and wireless charging are big downsides of this device. Apart from this, the device is lightweight despite having a huge battery capacity. Also, the device carries the latest comms and sensors that are mandatory to be called a flagship smartphone. Most other flagship smartphones have them these days. overall, if you are a fan of Meizu, then you can definitely go for this smartphone, but in case you are looking for an alternative, then you can check out the Redmi Note 12 Turbo smartphone, which comes with almost similar specs and is more value for money.

Qualcomm Adreno 740: Graphics chip for smartphones and tablets that is integrated within the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Qualcomm claims that it is 25% faster than the Adreno 730 in the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and first benchmarks show that the GPU can beat the Apple A16 iGPU (previously the fastest smartphone GPU).
Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.

SD 8 Gen 2: High-end SoC for smartphones that was introduced in late 2022 with a fast prime core based on a ARM Cortex-X3 architecture clocked at up to 3.2 GHz. Two more performance cores are based on the A715 and also support only 64 bit applications. The two additional A710 cores support also 32 bit applications as do the power saving Cortex-A510 cores. In addition to the processor cores, the SoC integrates a WiFi 7 modem, a Hexagon DSP (for AI acceleration) and a Spectra ISP. The integrated memory controller supports fast LPDDR5x memory with up to 4,200 MHz. 5G is included in the chip with the Snapdragon X70 modem.» Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Processsors.

It is a small display format for smartphones. You shouldn't be severely defective in vision, and you won't see much detail on the screen and only have a small resolution available. For that, the device should be small and handy, easy to transport.
