Let's just address the elephant in the room. Has Honor erred with the pricing of the device as at Rs 11,999, Honor Holly 4 is far away from being the choice of a user who's looking to buy a handset for Rs 12,000. Smartphone makers like Xiaomi and Motorola are offering smartphones that have faced no complaints in any department. They might boast of similar specs but do deliver better performance. Perhaps if the handset was priced under the Rs 8,000 mark, the specs would have been justified.

The Honor Holly 4 could have been a great phone at this time last year, but it fades in comparison to Xiaomi's rather expansive lineup in the sub-Rs. 15,000 market. Lenovo also has a few great models, including the recently launched Moto G5s series (Review). Honor's own Honor 8 Lite (Review) sells for under Rs. 15,000 and surprisingly, the 32GB version of the Honor 6X (Review) sells at the same price of Rs. 11,999 (though it is soon to be replaced). While the Honor 6X has a very gimmicky dual camera feature, at least it stands out. The new Holly 4 just seems lost in this mix.

For Honor fans, the Holly 4 can be an attractive buy. Go for it if you want a phone that doesn't quit on you before the day ends. There are some neat customisations and features that come with EMUI 5.1 that may please some. At this price, the Holly 4 is not a bad choice, but it's also not the best you can get.

The Honor Holly 4 Plus is a bit pretty average device at this price point. The phones need some major improvement in the selfie camera and performance departments. As for the competition is concerned, the phone looks like an underdog when you compare it with the likes of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 and Lenovo K8 Plus.

5.00:
It is a very small display format for smartphones. You should by no means be mis-sighted and you will generally see very little on the screen and only have a small resolution available. In return, the device should be very small and handy.
