Honor 7X in red hits the US for US$199.99
If you are looking for the best sub-US$250 Android handset to buy these days, there are three devices that stand out of the crowd: the Moto G5S Plus, the Xiaomi Mi A1, and the Honor 7X. However, Huawei's sub-brand has just stepped forward with a very tempting Valentine's special deal: the Honor 7X can be acquired in red for US$199.99 and also comes with a free case. Sadly, this is a limited edition that also included the Honor Monster Earphones for free, but that gift is out of stock already, less than a day since the red Honor 7X was made available in the US.
Huawei's Honor 7X in red does not come out of the blue, since it has been unveiled last month, at CES 2018. Although it comes at the same price as the regular edition, the problem with the red Honor 7X is that only a limited number is available. Sadly, the official Honor online store does not have a countdown counter or anything else to suggest how many are available. The only certain thing is that, if the stock does not run out sooner, the red Honor 7X will be up for sale until February 14.
The HiSilicon Kirin 659-powered Honor 7X is a 5.93-inch handset that succeeds the successful Honor 6X. It has a 16 MP + 2 MP main camera setup and a 3,340 mAh battery. The hardware options available include 3 GB or 4 GB RAM, as well as 32 GB or 64 GB internal storage. The regular editions come in blue, black and gold.
Even if you happen to miss the limited edition red Honor 7X, the blue color also looks great. Obviously, it all comes down to each one's personal tastes. After all, when your favorite color is not available for the device you want to buy, there's always a case in that color up for sale somewhere on the world wide web.
