Haylou launches an affordable AMOLED smartwatch with offline maps and 18-day battery life

Haylou has introduced a new affordable smartwatch that is touted as being packed with features: the Watch Hyper. It is an AMOLED watch featuring a 1.97-inch panel with adaptive brightness. The company did not share specifics on the brightness, but it is said to get bright enough for easy viewing under different lighting conditions.
Another key highlight of the smartwatch is the 390mAh battery. Haylou claims that it can offer up to 18 days of runtime, but with GPS on, the rated battery life stands at 24 hours.
Speaking of which, the Haylou Watch Hyper has dual-band GPS, and the L1 + L5 positioning system is said to offer accurate tracking even in challenging outdoor conditions. There is support for offline maps, which makes the smartwatch an ideal pick for hiking and exploration.
The company further highlights the one-tap Strava sync feature, but there is no mention of support for other fitness apps. For health tracking, it has different heart-rate settings with two-way sync to the companion app. The smartwatch can also measure stress and blood oxygen, but unlike some competing watches, it cannot track sleep.
Other than that, there are 170 sports modes, automatic workout recognition, VO2 max tracking, and a 5 ATM water-resistance rating. As for the price, the Haylou Watch Hyper is currently available on the official store for $85 and also on AliExpress. The smartwatch can be purchased in black and silver colorways.
