The HTC U11 Life has reportedly started receiving the Android 10 update, with a user posting Russian-language information about the operating system on Google’s support forum. Users had been concerned that the HTC U11 Life would not receive any more software updates and by February there had been no sign of Android 10 for the smartphone.
However, the HTC U11 Life was launched with Android 8.0 Oreo and duly received an update to Android 9.0 Pie as expected. Even though the midrange Chinese smartphone only became part of the Android One program in September 2017, it seems an update to Android 10 is incoming.
The HTC U11 Life offers attractive battery life, quick Internet connection, and it comes with regular security patches and a relatively clean operating system thanks to its membership of Google’s Android One program. Owners of the Snapdragon 630-powered device will likely be delighted to learn that they can enjoy the new features that Android 10 brings with it.
