Leak confirms the design of the HTC Desire 20 Pro
Evan Blass has published another leak about the HTC Desire 20 Pro, a schematic of which he released in April. Now, Blass has shared an image of supposedly a hands-on with the device. The photo not only confirms that the Desire 20 Pro will have four rear-facing cameras, but also a rear-facing and capacitive fingerprint scanner. The back panel appears to have some sort of carbon fibre finish too. However, the way the light is catching it suggests that the Desire 20 Pro has a glossy back panel.
The photo does not offer many details about the display, besides that it has a punch-hole for a front-facing camera. The Google Play Console suggests that this panel will operate at 2,340 x 1,080 pixels and will have a pixel density of 400 PPI.
According to Blass, HTC has assigned the Desire 20 Pro the codename Bayamo. The Play Console also states that the device will feature a Snapdragon 665 SoC and 6 GB of RAM.
HTC has teased that it will unveil the Desire 20 Pro on June 16. The company appears to have hinted that the device would sport VR compatibility, too.
