Reviews for the HP Chromebook x2 11-da0023dx

79.5% HP Chromebook x2 11 review: Snapdragon 7c pairs well with Chrome OS | Notebookcheck
HP says its new Chromebook x2 11 is designed for mobility, optimized for productivity, and perfect for entertainment. In our experience, it certainly satisfies two of these three pillars.
90% HP Chromebook x2 11 Review

The HP Chromebook x2 11 is an excellent 2-in-1 Chromebook. It provides the best of both worlds for a tablet and laptop with a fantastic display, as well as good all-round performance, and a responsive keyboard. The port selection, nor battery life, isn’t the most impressive, but otherwise, this is a grand choice.

The HP Chromebook x2 11 isn’t perfect – the speakers, trackpad and keyboard cover could have been better executed. Despite these flaws, it’s a strong performing 2-in-1 laptop alternative with a handful of great features and an affordable price.

80% HP Chromebook X2 11 review: Chrome OS’s answer to the Surface Go 3
Source: Expert Reviews English
I have some reservations about the HP Chromebook X2 11’s keyboard but it makes a great grown-up alternative to the IdeaPad Duet, with a bigger screen, a premium design and better performance. Unlike the 2-in-1 Chromebook convertibles crowd, it makes an effective tablet as well as a good laptop, and in many ways, it offers a better experience than Microsoft’s Surface Go 3. Of course, it’s not a direct alternative, lacking the wide range of apps you can install if you on Windows 11 but, if you’re happy in the Chrome OS and Android ecosystems, that’s not a problem. With a bit more work this could be an exceptional 2-in-1 Chromebook. As it is right now, it’s still a great device.

70% HP Chromebook x2 11 review: A premium 2-in-1 at a reasonable price
Source: Good Gear Guide English
So, should you get the HP Chromebook x2 11? Yes, especially if you're looking for a premium 2-in-1 at an affordable price point. The 2-in-1 factor makes it really versatile and convenient, as you can use it like a traditional laptop or ditch the accessories and bam, you've got a handheld device. Performance isn't too shabby, either. It's plenty fast for day-to-day tasks like browsing the web, writing papers, and so on. Plus, thanks to the low-power processor, you can expect the battery to last all day.

90% Ausdroid Reviews: HP x2 11 Chromebook – a Chromebook Tablet that acts and feels like a better Surface Go
Source: Ausdroid English
Whilst I was impressed with the build quality, hinge and camera issues aside, the user experience from the software side is flawless and lightning fast. I just wish the HP rechargeable USI Pen was included as it is in other countries, rather than having to fork out an additional $116. This is a premium Chromebook and it comes with 4G LTE coverage, unlike most other Chromebooks which are limited to Wi-Fi connectivity. However, I feel there are some other alternatives and similar Chromebooks such as the original Lenovo Duet Idea-pad Chromebook – $374 through to $399, and the newer Lenovo Duet 5 – $599 to $799. However, if you’re after a more premium Chromebook that can last the day, keep you connected on the go with 4G LTE and have a flawless user experience and performance, then yes I would recommend the HP x2 11 Chromebook. The HP x2 11 Chromebook is available through your local JB Hi-Fi store or the JB Hi-Fi website on sale currently for $974, but the regular retail pricing is $1,299.

79% HP Chromebook X2 review: Do we really need a Chrome OS convertible?
Source: Engadget English
The main issue with the Chromebook X2 is neither its price nor its performance. It’s the fact that most people will be better served with a standard, laptop-style Chromebook. Sure, most Chromebooks are a little bigger and heavier than the X2, but they’re also generally more powerful and have better keyboards. The X2 only makes sense if you value portability and battery life over performance. If you can find the X2 for $400, it’s worth considering if you’re a Chrome OS user looking for a secondary computer that you can take with you anywhere. Otherwise, you’re probably better off considering one of the many other Chromebooks on the market.

HP Chromebook x2 11 review: A tough value proposition
Source: XDA Developers English
It’s tough to say whether the HP Chromebook x2 11 is a great value, since it depends on what price you buy it at. At the sale price of $399 that we’ve seen at Best Buy recently, this is a solid media consumption device with a beautiful display, solid battery life, and nice speakers. On the other hand, for HP’s recommended MSRP of $599, I’d expect quite a bit more out of this device. Considering that you can’t get much work done on it or play interesting games, I wouldn’t pay $599 for this tablet. There are several other great Chromebooks at that price point, while they aren’t all tablets, there are plenty of 2-in-1 offerings. If you’re looking for my recommendation for a workhorse Chromebook at $599, I would suggest the Acer Chromebook Spin 713. That Chromebook has 2-in-1 capability, a beautiful screen, and enough processing power to accomplish more work than the HP Chromebook x2 11. For those of you that just need a media tablet or note-taking device that isn’t your primary device, grab the HP Chromebook x2 11 on sale and you’ll absolutely love it.

70% HP Chromebook x2 11 review: A Chrome-based iPad competitor?
Source: Digital Trends English
Yes. The HP Chromebook x2 11 is a great little tablet that would suit students or function as a secondary machine for more demanding productivity users. And it’s a low-cost alternative to the iPad Pro.

11.00":

This is a standard display format for tablet computers or small convertibles. You see more on the screen than on a smartphone but you can't use big resolutions well. On the other hand, mobility is not a problem.

HP: Founded in 1939, the US company is a major server and printer manufacturer and one of the leading IT companies in the world. Until 2015, the company was called Hewlett-Packard Company. After a split, the computer division was renamed HP Inc.

In 2023, HP had an approximate market share of 22% of global PC sales, making it number 2 after Lenovo.

76.58%: This rating is not earth-shattering. This rating must actually be seen as average, since there are about as many devices with worse ratings as better ones. A purchase recommendation can only be seen with a lot of goodwill, unless it is about websites that generally rate strictly.
