The latest Google Pixel Feature Drop for November 2025 is here and should become available to download for all users of compatible Pixel smartphones over the next few days. This includes the latest Pixel 10 Pro, which currently retails for $964 on Amazon. Among other things, the new software introduces the "remixing" of photos directly in Google Messages, which allows users to edit pictures with AI by simply describing what they want to change.
The AI features in Google Photos are now personalized after the update, so users can tell AI the name of a person in a group photo that should be edited. For example, sunglasses can be removed, closed eyes opened and facial expressions changed. However, this particular feature is currently only available for users based in the US.
The same applies to scam detection for incoming text messages, as Google is only warning US-based users about potential fraud attempts. In addition, incoming messages from contacts marked as "VIPs" are now displayed more prominently so they are less likely to be missed. The Feature Drop further adds a new option on the Pixel 9 and newer phones that uses AI to summarize incoming messages directly in the corresponding push notification.
Starting in December, it will also be possible to identify unimportant messages with AI and hide their notifications. Moreover, users of the Pixel 10 series can take advantage of a new power-saving mode in Google Maps, which can extend battery life by up to four hours by hiding nonessential info.
