Google has released another Feature Drop for Pixel smartphones, spanning the Pixel 3 to Pixel 6 series. Rolling out from today, Google will distribute the June Feature Drop over the next two weeks, depending on where you live. As the video below shows, Google has rolled out six new or updated features, including a 'pocket operator for Pixel' app.
In short, the app allows you to turn videos into music, with the option of layering sounds, adding effects and creating beats or patterns, before mixing them to create a complete track. Additionally, Google claims to have improved 'At a Glance', which can now provide air quality alerts, your Nest Doorbell feed and a flashlight reminder.
Moreover, Google states that the June Feature Drop allows you to take a screenshot of your digital vaccine card and add a home screen shortcut for easy access. Currently, this feature is only available in Australia, Canada and the US. for reference. Separately, Google has expanded its car crash detection feature to Canada and has introduced Dutch, Korean, Thai, Traditional Chinese and Turkish translation options within Messages.
Incidentally, Google has added more Curated Culture wallpapers. The June Feature Drop will be arriving as an over-the-air (OTA) update; Google will also send a notification through the Pixel Tips app to outline this month's changes and new features.
