Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro pricing and color variants leak ahead of launch
The Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro have been officially confirmed to launch on October 6. Details of the phones have leaked over the past months, and a new leak now reveals how Google will price the duo in the US market.
Unsurprisingly, the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro look set to retain the prices of the Pixel 6 series in the US. It can be assumed that European pricing will remain the same as well. As revealed by Artem Russakovskii of Android Police citing data from Target's internal systems, the Pixel 7 will cost US$599, while the Pixel 7 Pro will go for US$899. Those can be expected to be the price tags for the base 128 GB models.
In addition, the leak confirms that the Pixel 7 will be available in color options of Snow, Obsidian, and Lemon Grass. The Pixel 7 Pro, however, will trade in the Lemon Grass colorway for a Hazel one. Both phones will be unveiled on October 6 with pre-orders to begin at the same time. Reportedly, they won't go on sale till October 13, with the source now highlighting the possibility of that being pushed back to October 18.
Lastly, Target is supposedly set to offer US$100 and US$200 gift cards for the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro respectively, although the fine print of that particular offer remains unconfirmed.
The pre-order date for both phones is currently listed as October 6, which is exactly what we expected.— Artem Russakovskii ???????? (@ArtemR) September 22, 2022
The launch date is currently still listed as October 13, but there are rumors that it may be delayed to the 18th floating around.
