Garmin has only just released the Venu X1 (curr. $799 on Amazon). Nonetheless, the company has already kicked off its Beta Program for those who are willing to try new features before they reach the masses. Please note that there may be some issues with joining the Venu X1 Beta Program at this stage.
To recap, Garmin introduced System Software 10.60 on release day for the purposes of adding the Garmin Share, Saved and Stocks apps, as well as its Gaming and Rucking activities. On top of that, the company mentioned that it had included 'various bug fixes and improvements', albeit without providing any further details in this regard.
Similarly, Garmin has included 'various bug fixes' as a line in its Beta 12.50 changelog. However, it has also brought Evening Report to the Venu X1, which it showcased on its Forerunner 570 and Forerunner 970 smartwatches. Moreover, the new update boasts a slew of changes aimed at runners, including the addition of a weekly running tolerance estimate.
Currently, one must manually trigger the download of Beta 12.50 by navigating through the smartwatch's Main Menu, Settings, System and Software Update before tapping 'Check for Updates'. The full changelog between System Software 10.60 and Beta 12.50 is as follows:
- Adds an evening report to summarize your day before your sleep time.
