Garmin delivers two dozen improvements to popular smartwatch with major update release

Garmin has returned with a new update for the Forerunner 570 (curr. $549.99 on Amazon). To recap, the company issued System Software 18.32 at the start of October. An interim update, System Software 18.32 arrived with multiple fixes for bugs found after a major release from a month earlier.

Now, Garmin has transitioned Forerunner 570 software development to v19.xx builds. Specifically, the company has started with v19.15 on its Beta Program. In a forum post, Garmin asserts that it is offering Public Beta Version 19.15 as a 'pre-rollout' update. As a result, one must download the update manually on the Forerunner 570 itself in the following manner:

Reportedly, Public Beta Version 19.15 introduces two dozen changes. Based on the changelog below, sixteen of these are bug fixes, with four new features and four other improvements. In a forum post, Garmin claims that its new update addresses a bug that occassionnally caused device reboots while answering a phone call directly on the Forerunner 570.

Moreover, excessive battery drain should no longer occur when using Alipay. On top of that, Public Beta Version 19.15 changes Auto Lap prompts to announce lap numbers during workouts. The full changelog for Garmin's new beta update is as follows:
