Amazfit smartwatch users get new navigation feature in update

The Amazfit Active Max smartwatch is receiving another update. Firmware version 3.25.0.1, also known as the October 2026 update, has landed a couple of months after the last release. This earlier version 3.20.0.1 release brought support for Zepp training courses and HYROX Virtual Pace.
Amazfit’s Active Max is getting the brand’s new HYROX Analysis feature with the v3.25.0.1 update. This tool, designed to be used with the Helio Strap Pro, allows the user to view their performance across the different workout stations. It tracks the number of movements and movement frequency, as well as logging trends in heart rate data. Linked to this, the pairing process for the Active Max and the Helio Strap Pro is said to have been optimized.
Amazfit Active Max smartwatch users can now manage music and playlists via the Zepp App after this new update. You can do so by going to Zepp App > Device > Device Application Settings > Music. Other changes include a refreshed version of Cycle Tracking and the ability to connect an FTMS-compatible bike trainer or spin bike for an indoor cycling workout. On top of this, the release brings Navigation for the Zepp coach plans, interval training, training templates and plans stored in your Training Library.
Firmware version 3.25.0.1 is rolling out in phases to users of the Active Max smartwatch (curr. $169.99 at Amazon). As usual, you will be able to trigger the update via the Zepp App.
