Fish Them All! wants players to catch 100 million fish with help from UFOs

Japanese indie developer Piisu has released a free Steam demo for Fish Them All!, an incremental fishing game with a deceptively simple objective: catch every single one of the 100 million fish swimming in its virtual ocean. The game starts with a boat, a fishing hook, and relatively modest ambitions. Players drop their hooks into the water, catch fish during short sessions lasting around 60 seconds, and spend their earnings on upgrades.
These improvements increase movement speed, hook size, and the number of fish caught simultaneously. What begins as catching one fish at a time eventually turns into hauling in hundreds or thousands with each attempt. Things become considerably less conventional as players unlock divers that automatically collect fish, explosions that clear entire schools, and eventually drones and UFOs. Apparently, traditional fishing equipment can only take you so far
New creatures also appear as players advance, including squid, enormous sharks, and even teleporting sea urchins. According to the developer, the finished PC game should take approximately four to five hours to complete. The free demo, available through the official Steam page, offers around 30–40 minutes of gameplay and supports Windows, macOS, and Steam Deck, with 14 available languages.
Fish Them All! is participating in Steam Next Fest, running from October 19 to 26. The PC release date and price have not yet been announced, although an earlier mobile version was released in July 2026.
Whether catching 100 million fish proves relaxing or mildly obsessive remains to be seen. At least nobody has to clean them afterward.
