Seemingly, Garmin could be as little as two weeks away from officially unveiling the Fenix E, a cheaper alternative to the Fenix 8. Purportedly, the Fenix E could be the only new Fenix smartwatch to be released with Memory-in-Pixel (MIP) displays, which should help suppress launch prices.

Garmin appears to be nearly ready to unleash a new batch of smartwatches, having had a fairly quiet year so far in this regard. For reference, the company released the Lily 2 (curr. $249.99 on Amazon) at the start of the year, which it has since followed with the Forerunner 165. While a lot has been said about the Fenix 8 series in recent weeks, there is also evidence that Garmin has developed a cheaper Fenix E.

To that end, the latter has now appeared on a regional Garmin distributor's website sporting alleged launch pricing and a rough release date. As previous leaks suggested, it seems that Garmin intends to offer up the Fenix E in a single 47 mm size. Reportedly, the Fenix E will reach Ukraine for UAH 36,700 (~$888), which is roughly in line with Eurozone pricing that surfaced at a third-party retailer early last month.

On top of that, the new store listings point to Garmin releasing the Fenix E in just grey and 'steel' finishes, both with black watch bands. Incidentally, photos of both styles have already leaked online, which we have embedded above. Based on the two retail listings that have been published so far, Garmin intends to release the Fenix E between September 4 and September 6.
