GTA 6: Rockstar makes another move – fans go wild

After GTA 6 was briefly available for pre-order from an Italian retailer yesterday – and at a surprisingly low price – fans are now analyzing every tiny development related to Rockstar Games. During the night of May 18–19, something changed again: on the official website, the page title was updated from “Grand Theft Auto VI” to “Rockstar Games: Grand Theft Auto VI.”
What this small change actually means is anyone’s guess. Naturally, speculation revolves around a possible new trailer, fresh screenshots or even the real start of pre-orders – and it is not entirely unlikely that fans could hear more about GTA 6 soon. After all, Take-Two’s next earnings call is scheduled for May 21, 2026.
At least as interesting, however, is how even the smallest changes are now enough to send the community into overdrive. The Reddit thread on the topic exploded within hours. At the time of writing, more than 500 comments had already been posted in roughly 13 hours. Fans are also showing a good dose of self-awareness: the top comment simply reads, “WE’RE ALL CRAZY.”
Between speculation and memes, one remark from Redditor u/RDR2Enjoyer also drew a lot of attention: “I find it crazy that you guys notice differences like this, how often do you check this stuff?”
While website changes can be tracked fairly easily with scripts or monitoring tools, the current Reddit thread shows just how tense and attentive the GTA community has become. After all, the updated page title could just as easily be a routine technical adjustment with no connection to a new trailer, pre-orders or an imminent announcement.
