The AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS "Phoenix" APU sits at the heart of the K6 mini PC, boasting impressive multi-threaded performance thanks to its 8 Zen 4 cores and 16 threads. Synthetic benchmarks indicate that the 7840HS is on par with the Intel Core Ultra 7 255H CPU, which is also a very powerful mid-range processor. However, our detailed review of the mini PC reveals that the video experience on the K6 is somewhat subpar due to DPC latency issues, which leads to a few dropped frames every now and then. That said, our review did also mention that the system performs admirably under load, even during prolonged stress tests. There is obviously no room for internal discrete graphics, although the Radeon 780M iGPU should be powerful enough for basic tasks and very casual gaming.
