GMK has updated its NucBox lineup with the NucBox M2 mini PC. It features an Intel Core i7-11390H CPU, which might be a little dated now but is still capable of modern workloads. The other specs of the unit are great too.

GMKtec has unveiled its latest mini PC, the GMK NucBox M2. It features a Tiger Lake Intel Core i7-11390H processor. While it's a CPU from 2021, it's the same chipset that powered some of the best gaming laptops of that year. To put it in perspective, laptops featuring this CPU sold for over US$1000.

With four cores and eight threads, the Intel i7-11390H CPU offers 12 MB of cache and runs at speeds ranging from 3.4 GHz to 5 GHz. The GMK NucBox M2 mini PC pairs this CPU with up to 32 GB of DDR4 RAM and 2 TB of NVMe storage. This combination enables the unit to handle heavy workloads with ease.

Although the NucBox M2 doesn't have a dedicated GPU, the CPU features an Intel Iris Xe iGPU with 96 EUs. This allows the mini PC to deliver remarkable performance for media and less resource-intensive games.

In addition, the GMK NucBox M2 mini PC offers a host of connectivity ports. It has four USB Type-A ports, a USB Type-C port with DisplayPort capabilities, an RJ45 Ethernet port, and two HDMI ports. Moreover, the unit boasts excellent build quality, featuring a "copper twin turbo cooling" design to maintain optimal temperatures during heavy workloads.

Regarding pricing information, the base version of the GMKtec NucBox M2 is priced at US$479.59 on the official site, while the top-kitted option costs US$619.99.
