AOOSTAR GOD7 launches with beefy specs and a futuristic design

More mini PCs with AMD Ryzen 7040 series Phoneix APUs have started to roll in. For those who missed it, in September, ASRock updated its 4x4 mini PC lineup with the AMD Ryzen 7040U APU. Now, Chinese brands have begun to introduce their fancy offerings with the 7040 series Phoenix APUs. Among them, there's the AOOSTAR GOD7.

Starting with its design, the GOD7 mini PC exudes a futuristic vibe with several cutouts on the body and 'Cyberpunk' branding engraved on the top. AOOSTAR has also integrated an RGB-lit fan inside, which complements the overall futuristic aesthetic of the mini PC.

Beyond aesthetics, the RGB-lit fan inside the AOOSTAR GOD7 serves a functional purpose. With the dual heat pipe radiator, this 9 cm fan ensures sufficient air circulation to keep the system cool even under heavy loads.

Speaking of which, the AOOSTAR GOD7 is a powerhouse. It features the Ryzen 7 7840HS that's based on the Zen 4 architecture, boasting 8 cores with 16 threads. The APU also houses the Radeon 780M iGPU, equipped with 12 compute units.

In terms of memory, the AOOSTAR GOD7 with Ryzen 7 7840HS can be configured with a maximum of 32 GB of DDR5 RAM running at 5600 MHz. As per storage, it's possible to get a pre-configured model with up to 1 TB of NVMe SSD.

When it comes to the I/O, the AOOSTAR GOD7 comes with two USB 2.0, one USB 4, two USB 3.2 Gen 2, one DPI 1.4, one HDMI, one LAN at 2.5G and one at 1.0G, 3.5 mm audio jack, and one HDMI 2.1 ports. For wireless connectivity, the mini PC offers WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2.

Regarding the pricing, the base model of AOOSTAR GOD7 with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage is priced at US$599. The top-tier version with 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage is priced at US$699.
