Fujifilm X-T6: Leak reveals launch timeline

The Fujifilm X-T6 was rumored to launch in early September. Fujifilm reportedly postponed the launch because the company could not source certain components in sufficient quantities. According to FujiRumors, the Japanese camera manufacturer has now finally set a new launch schedule, according to which the camera will arrive in November, provided there are no further delays.
The successor to the Fujifilm X-T5 ($2,199 on Amazon) is expected to retain a similar look, but receive at least three design improvements. Fujifilm is reportedly focusing on more comfortable operation, as the company is said to be redesigning three control dials and adding a new D-pad. The technical upgrades are at least as exciting, as rumors suggest that the Fujifilm X-T6 will use a new Fujifilm NP-W255 battery with a capacity of 2,550 mAh, around 16 percent more than the battery in its direct predecessor.
Aside from that, the improved AI autofocus is expected to be the most significant upgrade, enabling much more reliable subject recognition and better tracking. This autofocus is made possible in no small part by the more modern Fujifilm X-Processor 6. Like its direct predecessor, the Fujifilm X-T6 is expected to feature a 40-megapixel X-Trans sensor, although it is not yet known whether a newer sensor generation will be used. Pricing details are not yet available. For context: The Fujifilm X-T5 launched in 2022 with a recommended retail price of $1,699.
