OM System leaks lenses for OM Pen, including new edition of 13-year-old portrait lens

The new OM System OM Pen ($1,099 on Amazon) has launched alongside a slightly revised 14 – 42 mm kit zoom. The manufacturer now apparently plans to release updated versions of two more lenses, as OM System has published a presentation on YouTube that seemingly inadvertently shows two lenses that are not yet available.
Among them is the M.Zuiko Digital 45 mm f/1.8 II. At first glance, the lens looks identical to the older version, which Olympus launched in 2013. It is not yet known what improvements the updated version will receive, but OM System could conceivably give the lens a more modern autofocus motor, a weather-sealed body or better lens coatings.

The lens is particularly sought after for portraits thanks to its 35 mm-equivalent focal length of 90 mm and its relatively affordable price of currently around $479. The presentation also shows a new M.Zuiko Digital ED 40 – 150 mm f/4.5 – 5.6 R II, although a typo appears to have crept into the aperture specification. According to the markings on the lens, it reaches an aperture of f/4.0 at 40 mm, just like its immediate predecessor.
This lens is also relatively inexpensive, currently selling for just $169. With a 35 mm-equivalent focal length of 80 – 300 mm, the lens is suitable for sports, portraits and certain events, among other uses. It is also still unclear what new features to expect from this model, or when the new version will come onto the market.
