For MacBook Ultra and Home Hub: Apple said to hold two October launch events

Bloomberg editor Mark Gurman recently stated that Apple is planning a launch event on Tuesday, October 13. If this information is correct, Apple should send out invitations within the next few hours to days, officially confirming this date. According to the latest information from MacRumors another event is planned for the last week of October, between October 26 and 30.
These two launch events are expected to have different focuses. The highlight of the October 13 event is Apple's long-awaited smart home hub, which may be marketed as HomePad. According to rumors, this is an almost square 7-inch touchscreen that can either be mounted on a speaker base or hung on the wall. This hub is expected to control smart home devices, provide access to Siri AI, and enable FaceTime video chats, among other things. One of the more interesting features is facial recognition that automatically logs in the current user, so that each resident should automatically see their own calendar entries, notes, and widgets.
A new HomePod mini and a new Apple TV 4K, both of which also support Siri AI, are also expected to be announced at this event. The event in the last week of October is instead expected to focus entirely on the Mac, led by the brand-new MacBook Pro ($1,839 on Amazon) with an OLED touchscreen and a thinner chassis, which could also be called MacBook Ultra. A more affordable 14-inch MacBook Pro and an iMac with Apple M6 as well as a new iPad mini with an OLED display are also possible.
