EcoFlow has unveiled several new products, including the Stream 2 series.
EcoFlow has unveiled the Stream 2 series, the second generation of its decentralized plug-in solar solution, now offering up to 5,000 W of power. The company also introduced the OASIS 3.0 energy management platform alongside several other new products.

Shortly before the EET trade fair opens tomorrow in Munich, EcoFlow has unveiled a range of new products. From our perspective, the most exciting announcement is the new Stream 2 series, which delivers even more power than the first generation. Also new are OASIS 3.0, the EcoFlow EcoBot, and a new 8 kWh battery for the Ocean 2 home energy storage system.

Stream 2 series with up to 5,000 W

Last year, EcoFlow introduced the Stream series, a balcony power plant storage solution that impressed us in our review and, thanks to its decentralized approach, can to some extent bypass the typical 800 W feed-in limitation. Now, the company is launching the Stream 2 series, which offers even greater performance

The new generation consists of the Stream 3000, Stream 5000, and Stream AC 5000, as well as expansion batteries with capacities of 3 kWh and 5 kWh. Depending on the model and local regulations, up to 3,000 W can be fed into the household grid. The EcoFlow Stream 5000 features four MPPT inputs rated at 1,250 W each, allowing it to accept up to 5,000 W of solar PV input and store the energy in its 5,024 Wh battery. In addition, the modular system can now be stacked vertically, reducing the footprint when multiple batteries are combined.

OASIS 3.0 and additional innovations

The second-generation Stream series is fully compatible with the newly introduced OASIS 3.0. This is the latest version of EcoFlow’s energy management platform, designed to automatically optimize energy consumption. To do so, it analyzes electricity tariffs, weather forecasts, household consumption patterns, and the status of connected devices.

Also new is the EcoFlow EcoBot. This AI-powered energy assistant is designed to enable natural-language interaction with the energy system. According to the manufacturer, users can adjust settings, modify energy plans, and perform other actions simply by speaking, without needing to access the app. As additional product announcements, EcoFlow has introduced a new 8 kWh battery for the Ocean 2 system, as well as the A-Series for commercial and industrial solar-plus-storage projects.

The Stream 5000 is scheduled to be available from August 12 at an early-bird price starting at €1,299. Unfortunately, the official market launch is not planned until September. Further information and pricing for bundles and other configurations are available separately. We do not yet have additional details regarding the other newly announced products.
