ECS refreshes its mini-PC lineup with the Liva Z3 and Liva Z3E
ECS has refreshed its Liva series with the Liva Z3 and Z3E, both Intel Jasper Lake-based mini-PCs. Unsurprisingly, the pair share many components, but the Liva Z3E has space for a 2.5-inch HDD or SSD. Accordingly, the Liva Z3E is taller than the Liva Z3, with the former coming in at 52.9 mm. By contrast, the Liva Z3 is 35 mm tall, but both are 128 mm deep and 117 mm wide.
The Liva Z3E also has two RS232 COM ports that the Liva Z3 lacks. However, they both come with a Pentium Silver N6000, Celeron N5100 or a Celeron N4500 processor. Additionally, they have dual-channel SO-DIMM slots that support up to 16 GB of DDR4 RAM running at 2,933 MHz. Additionally, the pair can handle up to 128 GB of eMMC 5.1 flash storage and an M.2 2280 PCIe SSD.
ECS has equipped the Liva Z3 and Liva Z3E with the following ports:
- 1x 3.5 mm audio jack
- 1x Gigabit Ethernet
- 1x HDMI 2.0
- 1x mini DisplayPort
- 2x USB 2.0 Type-A
- 3x USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A
- 1x USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C
ECS has not announced how much of its new mini-PCs cost. The company has listed both on its website though, which we have linked below.
