Devinci reveals new E-Troy Bosch eMTB range

The Devinci E-Troy Bosch e-bike line-up has been unveiled. The new electric mountain bikes feature an 85Nm Bosch motor with eBike Flow App controls. Three models are offered with various suspension systems and a 625 Wh removable battery with an optional compact range extender.

Devinci has launched the new E-Troy Bosch e-bike. As its name suggests, the electric bicycle is powered by a Bosch Performance Line CX motor, delivering 85Nm of torque and up to 340% of your pedalling power. Plus, the smart hub lets you connect your smartphone to the electric bicycle and adjust settings via the eBike Flow App.

The E-Troy Bosch’s motor allows you to choose from four assistance modes: Eco, Tour, Sport and Turbo. A 250W Shimano STEPS EM800 motor powered the older E-Troy. The Split Pivot platform helps to balance power delivery for smooth assistance. A new 625 Wh removable battery is secured with a lock, and a PowerMore 250 range extender can be mounted to the frame; the gadget weighs 1.6 kg (~3.5 lbs) and is the size of a drinks bottle. Cables are routed internally for improved aerodynamics, and rear 27.5-in and front 29-in wheels provide grips on rough terrain.

Three models of the E-Troy mountain bike are offered: the E-Troy GX 12S LTD, the E-Troy GX 12S and the E-Troy Deore 12S. The electric bicycles have different suspension systems, with the entry-level Deore 12S equipped with a Fox 36 Performance E-Tuned Grip 160 front suspension fork with 160mm travel and Fox Float X Performance Series Evol LV rear suspension with 150mm travel. The Devinci E-Troy GX 12s LTD retails for US$7,999, the E-Troy GX 12s for US$7,699, and the E-Troy Deore 12s for $6,399.
