Do you use multiple devices at your job and don’t want to clutter your desk with a keyboard and mouse for each one? Or do you wish you could use the same keyboard to type emails on your computer and send texts on your phone? Dell has a solution you may be interested in.
The new Premier Multi-Device Wireless Keyboard and Mouse from Dell allow users to connect to up to three devices at once. Both peripherals use a 2.4 GHz RF adapter for one connection and Bluetooth 5.0 for the other two. Dedicated buttons on both the mouse and the keyboard allow users to easily switch between connected devices.
The keyboard features a slim profile (1.11 inches/28.36 mm) with scissor switches. The mouse offers an optical LED sensor with adjustable DPI (1000, 1600, 2400, 4000). The mouse has seven buttons, five of which are programmable. Both devices have battery lives rated at 36 months (according to Dell) and come with a 3-year limited hardware warranty.
Dell also unveiled the Premier Rechargeable Wireless Mouse. It can also connect to up to three devices via the same method and features seven buttons (five of which are programmable). The Premier Rechargeable Wireless Mouse charges via USB and lasts up to 6 months on a single charge (per Dell). The mouse comes with Dell’s 3-year Advanced Exchange Service which will ship out a new mouse the next business day to replace a defective unit.
The Premier Multi-Device Wireless Keyboard and Mouse will be sold together as a package for US $99.99. The Premier Wireless Rechargeable Mouse will start at $69.99. All these peripherals will be available on January 30, 2021 in the United States and March 18, 2021 in all other regions.
