CES 2021 | Dell announces U2722D and U2722DE 27-inch UltraSharp monitors
Dell has just added two monitors to the UltraSharp lineup and the main difference between them is the connectivity hub present in the U2722DE. Other than that, we have two 27-inch QHD monitors that use an IPS panel with excellent color reproduction capabilities and ComfortView Plus hardware low blue light reducing technology.
Capable of reproducing no less than 1.07 billion colors, the Dell U2722D and U2722DE UltraSharp use a panel with a wide 178-degree viewing angle, 2,560 x 1,440 pixels, and impressive color coverage figures of 100% sRGB and 95% DCI-P3. The connectivity hub on the U2722DE sports RJ45 Ethernet networking with MAC pass-through, PXE Boot, and Wake-on-LAN, as well as up to 90 W of power via USB-C.
Both monitors mentioned above can accommodate the Slim Soundbar (SB521A) for an improved multimedia experience. On the software side, they support the Dell Display Manager tool for improved multitasking.
Authorized Dell partners should have the U2722D and U2722DE in stock later this year, with availability and pricing depending on location and retailer. Dell will have them in stock on March 30 for US $579.99 (U2722D) and US$679.99 (U2722DE). Just like the other UltraSharp monitors introduced today, these two come with a 3-year limited hardware warranty and Dell Premium Panel Exchange coverage during this period (a free replacement even for a single bright pixel).
