Reviews for the Dell XPS 13 7390 (2-in-1)

Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 (2019) initial review: The compact ultra-portable with even more screen
Source: Pocket Lint English
If you were a fan of the previous XPS 13 models then you're bound to like this new version too. It's a real eye-catcher and sports a fairly impressive spec, a promising battery life and much more besides.

Hands on: Dell XPS 13 2 in 1 Review

Perhaps the best feature is the sensible positioning of the camera. Like with the new Dell XPS 13 laptops, Dell has come to its senses and moved the webcam to the north side of the display, meaning whoever you’re videocalling won’t be staring at your chin the whole time – previously, Dell had mounted cameras under the south bezel, which allowed for rather unflattering views of your face. Despite this move, the bezel here is very thin – you’d be hard pressed to spot the camera sensor at a glance. I barely even noticed it was there initially.

Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 (7390) review: Hands-on
Source: PC Advisor English
We won't know just how well the new 10nm Intel chips perform until we get the XPS 13 2-in-1 into the office for a proper review, but on paper this looks like a very capable machine. Strong specs combined with the best of Dell's already strong XPS design language mean that not only does this look like a good convertible, it might even dethrone its clamshell cousin from the top of the laptop world.

Based on some brief time with the Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 – ogling its larger and sharper display and tapping away on its improved MagLev keyboard – we’ve come away hugely impressed and optimistic for Dell’s latest.

Intel Iris Plus Graphics G7 (Ice Lake 64 EU): Integrated graphics card in Intel Ice-Lake G7 SoCs based on the new Gen. 11 architecture with 64 EUs (Execution Units / Shader Cluster). The clock rate depends on the processor model ranging from 300 MHz base to 1050 - 1100 MHz boost. The Ice-Lake chips are produced in the modern 10nm process at Intel produced. With these GPUs you are able to play modern and demanding games fluently at medium detail settings and HD resolution. » Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Graphics Cards and the corresponding Benchmark List.
1065G7: Ice Lake based low power quad-core processor for thin and light laptops. The four cores clock between 1.3 - 3.9 GHz and should offer 18% more IPC (instructions per clock) than the previous generations (and therefore partly close the clock speed gap). Produced in 10nm at Intel.» Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Processsors.
13.4":

Above all, this display size is used for subnotebooks, ultrabooks and convertibles. For all three types, this size is quite large. The biggest variety of subnotebooks is represented with this size.

Large display-sizes allow higher resolutions. So, details like letters are bigger. On the other hand, the power consumption is lower with small screen diagonals and the devices are smaller, more lightweight and cheaper.

» To find out how fine a display is, see our DPI List.
1.33 kg:

This weight is typical for big tablets, small subnotebooks, ultrabooks and convertibles with a 10-11 inch display-diagonal.
