Model: The Dell G5 15 5587-M2NXM is an entry level gaming laptop. With Coffee Lake and a good mid-range GPU, Dell presents the G5 15 as a gaming notebook for the limited budget. Dell offers everything a gamer needs. There is a small SSD-drive for the operating system, programs and the leaving space for no more than one game. However, it comes with an additional 1 TB HDD as a data container. As for the most important for gaming, the laptop has the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 in the Max -Q version, which offers an important performance boost compared to the 1050 Ti. So, the Dell delivers good performance and most current games are fluently playable. As for the processor, it has an Intel Core i5-8300H installed, paired with 8 GB of RAM. The processors has a TDP of 45 watts, four real cores and a good basic and turbo tact. To offer an attractive price for this laptop, Dell was forced to skim down some of the hardware specifications. This is obvious in the small SSD-drive, and a borderline good display. The display of the laptop is an IPS panel with stable viewing angles and good contrast. However, the brightness of the display is below average at 230 cd/m², and the coverage of the color space is more than modest (61 % of the sRGB). Hence, it is not ideal for outdoor use or tasks that require color accuracy such as graphic and video editing.
The good battery life deserves a special mention. It offers almost 7 hours of continuous video playback and 4.5 hours of productive work, which will allow users to not stick to the outlet. However, it was not possible to get rid of the heavy weight of the thick case. The laptop isn’t ideal to be brought around since it is quite heavy at 2.8 kg. Dell offers a couple of choices of interfaces, which are three USB 3.0 Type-A and one USB Type-C with Thunderbolt-3 support. Although there is no alternative DisplayPort connector, thanks to HDMI and DisplayPort via USB Type-C, the user has all the features to connect an external monitor or TV. In addition to the two-stage keyboard illumination, there is a presence of a fingerprint scanner. It also has a full-size SD card reader and an RJ45 port. As a conclusion, Dell was able to provide a gaming laptop with a good graphics card at an affordable price. Although Dell was forced to offer a low storage SSD and an entry-level display panel, it is acceptable for the price it offers. The laptop is ideal for gamers who are on a tight budget.

15.60":
15-inch display variants are the standard and are used for more than half of all laptops.
The reason for the popularity of mid-sized displays is that this size is reasonably easy on the eyes, often allows high resolutions and thus offers rich details on the screen, yet does not consume too much power and the devices can still be reasonably compact - simply the standard compromise.

With this weight, a laptop is rather heavier than average. Devices in this range shine more with screen size and performance than with mobility.

72%: This rating is poor. More than three quarters of the models are rated better. That is rather not a purchase recommendation. Even if verbal ratings in this area do not sound that bad ("sufficient" or "satisfactory"), they are usually euphemisms that disguise a classification as a below-average laptop.
