Death Stranding 2 PC features detailed ahead of launch

Death Stranding 2 is all set to make its PC debut on March 19. Its PC system requirements aren’t particularly demanding, with the game being touted to run on handhelds such as the Steam Deck. Now, Kojima Studios and PlayStation have listed some exclusive features PC players can see in Death Stranding 2. For starters, DualSense owners can get the full console experience, complete with adaptive triggers and spatial sound.
It is compatible with all popular AI-powered image upscalers such as DLSS, FSR and XeSS. That, combined with uncapped frame rates, should make for a much better experience than the PlayStation 5. Additionally, Death Stranding 2 also supports ray-traced reflections and ambient occlusion for even better visuals. Lastly, 21:9 ultra-wide monitors are also supported, and they are also coming to PlayStation 5 consoles later.
Those who link their PlayStation ID with Steam/EGS accounts will get a porter suit skin in-game. Deluxe Version buyers get three boost skeletons and a machine gun earlier than they would in a vanilla playthrough. You can pre-order it now on Steam and Epic Games Store for $59.99 (Standard) and $69.99 (Deluxe).
In our Death Stranding 2 review, we praised the game for its innovative gameplay loop that greatly improved upon what Death Stranding had to offer. The story was pristine with labyrinthine twists and turns—something that is expected from a Hideo Kojima game. While Death Stranding 2 can be enjoyed by itself, it’s better if you play the first game to understand the story better.
