Deal: Battery storage system 15.36 kWh for solar power stations with a whopping 37% discount

Basen Green is currently offering an LV storage system for solar stations with a generous discount. Usually battery storage systems are still relatively expensive, so the Black Week offer is definitely interesting. The battery is 51.2V and 280Ah in the updated 2.0 version and uses lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) cells.

It has 16 parallel connections and measures 475 x 255 x 770 mm with an impressive weight of 112 kg. For flexible integration into existing systems, the storage can communicate with other devices via various serial interfaces such as RS485, RS232 and CAN. The manufacturer offers a warranty of up to 10 years and states that under optimum conditions (25°C) the battery can undergo more than 10,000 charge and discharge cycles before its performance degrades significantly.  

As mentioned above, the 10,000 charge cycles does not mean that the battery has reached the end of its life. It simply has a lower capacity after this number of complete charge and discharge cycles, but lasts significantly longer. This is because the capacity of the storage system decreases slightly with each cycle. After 10,000 cycles, it will no longer be able to store the full 15.36 kWh - but it may be able to store 70 or 80 percent of it.

The actual capacity after 10,000 cycles and how long the storage system will work depends on a number of factors, such as the depth of charge and discharge: the deeper the charge and discharge, the greater the stress on the battery.
