Portable monitors have always been handy and easy to transport, but early models were sorely lacking when it came to brightness and color accuracy. The 2019 Lepow, for example, covers only 60 percent of sRGB and it isn't even bright enough for comfortable viewing in brighter environments. Fortunately, newer portable monitors are beginning to incorporate higher-end OLED and QLED panels for significantly better image quality.

The latest portable monitor on sale is the 15.6-inch DEPGI 1080p monitor for $140 USD after applying the $50 coupon code at checkout. Users can also apply the coupon code 'DUCUQDCH' instead for an even steeper $65 off. The monitor is notable for its QLED panel instead of the usual IPS. The newer panel allows the DEPGI to offer both 95 percent DCI-P3 color coverage and fast 3 ms response times to be fit for many graphics editing applications and even games.

Limitations of the panel include the 60 Hz refresh rate and a possibly dimmer-than-expected display. The manufacturer doesn't advertise the brightness anywhere on the product page which has us suspicious about how bright the display can be. It also doesn't support touch. For only $140, however, this is one of the least expensive 15.6-inch QLED monitors you can find.
