It is quite safe to say that the Cubot KingKong AX boasts a rather attractive design which is simultaneously rugged and elegant. While the device is predominantly made of metal which is quite evident with its weight of almost 300g, the phone is still comfortable enough for single-handed use. The phone has been advertised by the manufacturer as “ultra-thin,” which holds true for a phone of this category and degree of protection. In terms of its display, the KingKong AX is equipped with a 6.583-inch display, protected by Panda Glass. Apart from that, there is a large module with a camera and display on the rear panel. The display also supports refresh rates of 120Hz, 90Hz, and 60Hz. On the other hand, the additional display is circular in shape and occupies the centre of the module with the main camera and LED flash positioned on its left.
